Lou Recovering

At the beginning of “Strength for the Journey,” an event downtown for diocesan leaders that I attended beginning at noonday Friday, it was announced that Lou was in the hospital. I was tempted to post information about this development when I returned home yesterday, but I didn’t have a lot of information, so I decided to wait to see what was said in church today.

Apparently, Lou has had some sort of infection and ended up in the hospital Thursday. He came home yesterday. Kris, who has been keeping in touch with Lou, reported his condition at the 10:30 service today and was reasonably reassuring. I didn’t get a chance to have a personal conversation with him, however.

Prayers for Lou are certainly in order.
